Katie and The Ladybug

Yesterday Katie found a ladybug in the house. She was so fascinated by it, she played with it for about an hour and named it Carl. She put it in her my little pony house, tried to feed it spaghetti, and protected it from Connor who would probably have eatin it if he had gotten hold of it. She let it crawl on her belly and up her arm until finally mommy decided Carl needed to go back outside to be with his family. It's so cool how when your young even the littlest of things are entertaining or fascinating, it was so cute!!

The wonder of a child. Oh that we would stop and be as easily amazed by God's creation!!! I'm trying to renew that in myself and enjoy the simple pleasures and wonders around me each and every day!!

That is why I love that age. You take them on a walk and they find things you never pay attention to. They really stop to smell the flowers! Really teaches you to slow down and apperciate what's around you. I love those babies!
